The Big Band Sound Soars!

The Ira B. Liss Big Band Jazz Machine has been around Southern California for 39 years offering Big Band sounds for a rapturous audience. For this recording the band features Bob Mintzer – composer and saxophone, Eric Marienthal – alto sax, Holly Hoffman – flute, & Dean Brown – guitar. The band itself is 18 members strong and has the reputation as being one of the finest of the large jazz ensembles around.
